Obliteracers
It's finally out! Obliteracers is an award-winning, same-screen party racer where up to 16 players duke it out for supremacy and I had the honour of joining on the soundtrack. Thanks to The Otherworld Agency for bringing the ensemble of composers together for the project. We all rooted in electro swing, but quickly branched out to play on the many different environments of Obliteracers.
Care to give it a whirl? The game's available now on Steam with PS4 and Xbox One releases coming in Q2! On the music side, visit us on iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp, and Loudr to grab the soundtrack!
Thanks for listening and hope to see you in game!
Vancouver Art Gallery: "MashUp"
For some reason, most of my projects have been outside of Vancouver. It's been wonderful working with teams far and wide, but it's nice to play on my own turf too.
Thanks to the talented Philip Jarmain, I got my chance, and I was brought on to score the ad for the Vancouver Art Gallery's latest exhibition, MashUp: The Birth of Modern Culture. Well done to him and the crews over at 123w and PostPro Media for putting all of this together!
Marketing Mag gave the campaign a sweet writeup on 123w's creative choices, too. They took it in a bolder direction than I expected, and I think they nailed it. Much like the exhibit and the art therein, there's nothing quite like the campaign.
Singapore Management University: "Li Ka Shing Library"
Singapore is my second home. I miss it a lot, and it helps working on projects within the country. Late last year, the talented folks over at Optical Films approached me to score a video for the Singapore Management University. So many good memories flooded back. I jumped at the chance!
A Brit and a Broad in El Salvador
Chae and I were stolen away on another jaunt with the A Brit and A Broad crew - this time to El Salvador! It's always so kind of them to have us, and with footage like this, we were very happy to oblige.

Your Heart (In the Air) feat Chae Kim
Folks, I found someone who likes reverb as much as I do. Meet Chae Kim!
A few months back, I found Chae at a crowded jam session. She was quiet throughout, watching carefully as we stumbled through pop standards. I thought she must have been bored. After hearing her work, I understood her silence. Chae owns a wonderfully intimate sound. Whispered and delicate, it's amazing what this girl does with slower passages.
And then we went and did a dance track. Go figure.

Lyrics:
Be with me one more day
How can I make you stay
Sunrise over the bay
We both aren't here to stay
Your heart is in the air
Your heart is in the air
Your heart is in the air
Your heart is in the air
Your heart is in the air
I haven't seen you in months
Everything about you is gone
Sunrise over the bay
We both weren't meant to stay
Your heart is in the air
Your heart is in the air
Your heart is in the air
Your heart is in the air
Your heart is in the air
